Labelers work effectively with seed-to-sale software and focus on labeling, categorizing, moving, and replacing products for our stores. The right person for this work maintains a clean and organized work area and understands the flow of inventory of new products. We hire Labelers with attention to detail skills to work under strict compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Work with government-regulated seed-to-sale software and other saas point of sale and inventory management tools.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, and keep records.
- Pack, seal, label, affix product labels, and oversee labeling equipment.
- Create and manage manifests for shipment of products.
- Store and procure materials and maintain stock inventory.
- Adhere to the Erin & Lynn Compassionate Act, HIPAA, and any other acts, statutes, or policies currently provisioned.
- It is a very active position, which requires standing for long periods.
- Maintain packaging facility safety and security by following safety procedures and protocols.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of cannabis and current regulations.
- Measuring, packaging, and labeling products correctly as directed.
- Set up and stock boxes, other supplies, and materials to meet production requirements.
- Execute final labeling and adhesion of all required manufacturing labels to products per NMRLD Cannabis Control Division and NMED New Mexico Environment guidelines.
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the packaging spaces and rooms.
- Tracks and documents all finished goods and packaging inventory.
- Work efficiently to reduce material waste and eliminate downtime.
- Ensuring that the packing environment is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Assist teammates as needed and help to fulfill the demands of Oasis Cannabis Co. products.
- Continually exhibit honesty and integrity.
- Be punctual and self-motivated and communicate effectively

Qualifications
- Ability to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
- Time management and reporting skills required
- Software, computer, internet, and math skills are required.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.
- Friendly, trustworthy, dependable, positive, hardworking, hard-working, and excellent with customers.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Available to work on blackout dates (holidays, seasonal sales times) and weekends.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- High school diploma or GED
- Cannabis Establishment Technician + HIPAA Certificate
- Food Handler Safety Certified
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of product manufacturing or warehouse
- 1-2 years of measuring, packaging, labeling, and inventory experience
